On Sunday, September 20, 2026, my heart was full of joy as I offered, as a gift to the parish and for the Lord, a painting of the crucifixion to the Holy Cross Catholic Church, the parish born from the vision of St. Katherine Drexel.
Fr. Francis, pastor and my friend, blessed both the artwork and me – such a beautiful grace. The painting was unveiled following the 10:30am mass, – it felt like placing something precious directly into the hands of Christ 
May all who see the painting feel what it was like to be standing next to the Blessed Virgin Mary at the foot of the cross and hear our Lord saying ‘It is finished. With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit” (John 19:30). Amen.
