Our Lady of Mt. Carmel welcome the Come & See Exhibit

On May 31st, the parishioners of OLMC seen and heard the Come and See Art Exhibit. Prayers were answered because the Corpus Christi Beach to Bay Relay Marathon was happening which meant heavy traffic to get over the Island bridge and the team were blessed to miss all of it in the nick of time.

Another blessing was the surprise of 93 yo Monsignor Seamus McGowen who attended the event and is a walking saint! He gave a brief talk and importantly a blessing before the start of the show. The mistress of ceremonies, Norma Ochoa, and OLM parishioner, Roseanne Woo-Haltresht, gave a rousing introduction. After the presentation, door prizes were raffled and providentially Norma was one of the winners.

Special thanks to the OLMC team and Immaculate Mary team (Audrey Foust, Pat McKeone, Joseph Pool, and Rita Stevens) most especially to 3 amazing boys: Trent, Tripp and Tate Foust, who were visting and came along with their grandma, Audrey, who helped veil/unveil, market prayer cards and take print orders. It was a record number of holy cards sold because of them!! All proceeds at this exhibit are donated to the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish.

A new painting of Fun at the Beach was unveiled at the exhibit and instant JOY!! Mother Mary touched so many more hearts!! Praising God for all of His continued blessings.

Thank you to everyone who were in attendance. May God bless us all.
