Come & See at the KOFC Sir Knight Ladies Luncheon

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, the Come and See Exhibit was unveiled and presented before 300+ women. They were the wives of the Knights of Columbus at the yearly Texas State KOFC Convention which was held in Corpus Christi this year. The event was so filled with joy and love. It was palpable as each painting was unveiled.

There were many God winks and many providential moments, too numerous to mention. I presented the 7 messages of Mary in light of Pope Francis’ teachings, the paintings of Jesus’ childhood, shared the Shalomworld trailer, gave away 3 door prizes and was profoundly humbled to receive a standing ovation. The flood of women who came up to speak to me and take photos with their favorite paintings were an enormous blessing! Mother Mary planted many seeds and touched hearts that I received texts and emails that moved me to tears.

Thank you to the Texas State KOFC First Lady, Margo Alonzo, and Mistress of Ceremonies, Norma Ochoa, for the invitation to be their guest speaker. I pray to be invited back again with another series of paintings. I am so very grateful to my beautiful Immaculate Conception volunteer team, Dorothy Garza, Audrey Foust, Ray Garza and my husband, Scott, for sacrificing their Saturday to haul easels/paintings, setting everything up (veiling/unveiling) and taking all canvas print and prayer card orders. This was also the first time that canvas prints and prayer cards were offered for purchase and the response was tremendous. Those who stood in line were so patient and we learned what to do next time.
